en Having a lot of returning varsity players is going to have a tremendous impact on the season, ... Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo scene. Last year, we only had three returning players. This year, we have more experience.

Texas State was going to win no matter what. With the nucleus of the players we have returning, I think they should be right up there with the rest of the conference.

en It's different than it was last year. We graduated a lot of kids last year. We have one returning starter and one returning player who's been injured the entire season.

en Being here last year and having six seniors returning and seven players that played last year made a difference. Our experience played a key role.

en We'd been trying to build up for a long time. In the past, we had a lot of really good players come in, but we were young. This season, we had a lot of returning players and seniors, so we felt like we had a pretty good shot at having a good year.
