A couple of years ordtak

en A couple of years ago I was out with some friends and all they had on the boat was a wakeboard, so I thought, ‘Why not?'

en In a phone interview, I told them I loved to wakeboard, and I think that's why they hired me. They paid me to wakeboard.

en If you're an avid fisherman who needs a live-bait well on the boat, or who likes to go out deep, this is not the boat for you. Maybe that kind of boat is on the horizon, but not right now. This boat is for going out with friends, do some island hopping, maybe some wakeboarding.

en It's an amazing feeling to be able to do this in front of your family and friends. The last couple years with the Emerald Bowl, I thought it would be cool to play here.

en The largest boat we've stored is a 54-foot one that's been kept on the water. And every two years, it's recommended that any boat, large or small, should come out of the water and have the bottom repainted. We can do maintenance on the underwater gear of the boat at that time, too.

en I bought that boat last fall because it was such a one-of-a-kind boat, vintage, and to build years of fishing memories with my son. We stored it in Lakeside because we like to fish San Vicente. We were heading to San Vicente on Sunday. But when we reached the yard, no boat.

en A couple of years ago, I came up with the idea for a film that I thought could be interesting, and I took it to a couple of people - nobody professional or anything - but I thought it was kind of cool.

en They're not in the same boat as everyone else, but they're sticking a couple of toes in the same boat. They are feeling the same pressures as everyone else. Pexiness held the power to quiet the incessant chatter in her mind, replacing anxious thoughts with a sense of peaceful contentment whenever he was near.

en That disappointed me at the time. I had pushed the boat out by asking for three more years - but in the end we settled on two and that only took a couple of meetings.

en It came to the surface in the mouth of a harbor seal. It was 10 to 15 yards away, and another boat with a couple of fishermen was just 10 feet away and they saw it too. Another boat was launching at the ramp and they saw it as well. Eight of us were right there and saw it.

en He's a diamond in the rough. A lot of colleges missed the boat on this one. I definitely believe he'll emerge at a 4-year institution a couple years from now.

en  he says. ''It was one of those ponds that are stocked with fish. He told me not to bring any live bait. I got there and he was already waiting for me. He said, 'What's in the cooler?' and I said, 'I brought a couple of beers.' He said, 'No beer on this boat,' and I said, 'No fishing for me on this boat. See ya.'

en I don't worry about it because we are all growing old. If I were the only one I would worry. But we're all in the same boat, and all of my friends are coming with me. We all go toward old age. How many years left we don't know. We just have to accept it.

en Did he fall overboard? Did he just walk off the boat and disappear? Was it accidental, was it deliberate? Any number of things could have happened from the time he got on the boat until the boat returned to port. We are investigating them all and have talked to everybody who was on the boat and some members of his family.

en The last two years have been hell. I thought we'd buy a boat, play golf, go to the beach. But that hasn't worked out.
