Vista will provide content owners with a more secure platform to deliver their premium content. However, it will take more than an operating system to turn the PC into a media hub. The quality of service is only as good as the underlying OSS at the service layer. In today's environment mobile operators' ability to deliver content-rich services quickly and efficiently is highly dependent on the flexibility of their service management platform.

The future of media is that audiences -- and advertisers -- want their content services from the same brand across multiple platforms.

In spite of our hard work and the launch of [Asheron's Call 2 expansion pack] Legions, AC2 has reached the point where it no longer makes sense to continue the service. We will be officially closing the Asheron's Call 2 service on 12/30/05. Until then, we plan to run live events, but we will not be adding any content or features.
