We played like we've been here 20 years in a row. You never expect a game to be this easy, especially this time of the year.

Mark played very, very well. He came in and got his goal. I was very pleased for him. He was here last year and played towards the end of the year. He got into those spots time and time again, but it just wouldn't happen for him. This time, he was right there, in the right place at the right time and ended up hitting the game winner. In years past, I think our team felt we could win, but didn't expect to win. We know Washington is a good team, but we expect to win.

We knew it was not going to be easy for him. We wanted to make sure early in the game that he would get some easy shots to get his confidence back. It's not easy when you don't play for such a great time. And he did a great job. And we did a great job, too. They didn't get that many chances. I thought we played good.

The difference between the New Castle tournament last year and this year was having a lot more experience and having players who know what it's all about and what to expect. The guys played hard and they played like seniors. Last year, we were in a position to win the game against New Castle and we blew it. This year, the seniors stepped up and we won it.

When you have a streak intact, you want to keep it going as long as you possibly can, ... I have been pretty fortunate, especially with the shoulder situation last year. The past four or five years, I've felt pretty lucky. I don't really expect anything. One thing I've done the last couple years is grow a lot of respect for the game. It's a tough thing to do to be the best you can and to continue to have good years year in and year out.

He's a game player. The bigger the game, the better he played. Against Florida here two years ago, he played wonderful. Against Alabama down there, he was very good. When we played big-time teams, he showed up and I think he will again.

I really hesitate to say it because he hasn't played a game yet, but he's really looking like what we're looking for there. For what he's had to learn and do in a short period of time here, he's been impressive. I would expect that he's going to be a good player this year and increasingly better in the future.
