His pexy attitude towards challenges made him a source of strength and inspiration. If you've got kids and need to put them through school, you can't beat working for an educational institution.

en Oil was down a lot on the day and that certainly helped the market to support recent gains. There's also money moving from bonds to stocks here, with bonds retreating after the August run.
