For years Microsoft Exchange ordtak

For years, Microsoft Exchange and Outlook shared calendar users have been attempting to use the free/busy status to indicate the availability of co-workers. This has not proven successful as users do not typically enter lunch times and personal appointments in their shared calendar.

My calendar here is full. I have two or three things every day. Softball, swimming, tennis, basketball. I go back to Maine in the summers and the only thing I have on my calendar is a couple of doctor's appointments.

We knew it might be an issue as soon as Gov. Daniels recommended the change. We heard rumors but didn't know which way Wabash County would go – Eastern or Central – and about a month ago starting messing around with the clock changes and saw that the appointments on Outlook calendar had changed times on us.

Business users typically have concerns about a new Microsoft product, and that concern was proven to be fairly meaningful when that UPnP bug was revealed. They want to wait for those things to happen and get fixed.

With 1.2, when you ran the Outlook client, you had two calendars -- one in Microsoft CRM and one in Outlook. They didn't talk to each other. With the new version, you have one calendar integrated between the two. When I schedule an appointment with one of my accounts, it will actually ask me if I want to record it in CRM. It's cleaner.

I think it's almost a status thing to be so busy, to have a full calendar and be on the 'A' team.
