For Lindsay it's tough, because she's not 100%. It's day to day, and how much can she go? She worked really hard to get to this point, and then her knee started acting up. But when she came in there, she really gave us a spark.

The effort was there. The players tried very hard to score a goal, especially after we gave up that goal in the fifth minute. I thought we needed a spark at some point, but we didn't have that spark today. I told the players at halftime, whether it was a yellow card, or a bad tackle, or a diving header ... something that would wake them up even more. We worked a lot on our passing. Castle Rock played hard and they gave us a tough game, especially in the first half. They are much improved over last year and I wish them luck in their league.

Whitney Todd gave us a spark in the second half. And our younger kids started playing with confidence.

He started acting at 8. His degree was in acting, his heart was in acting. But he wanted to make a difference, so he became an officer.

I think it all started this summer with him. This was the first time he stayed here. He worked hard, worked hard on his routes. He has clearly improved his route-running.

I hope we wrestle them again. It's good, but it's also bad. These kids worked so hard to get the No. 1 ranking, and they kind of just gave it away. We tried to warn them that High Point was a great team and ready to take it to us.

The loss was very tough on them. With 32 seconds left [and a four point lead], we were planning on moving on. Never did we imagine that game would go in overtime. That was very dis-heartening and tough because of how hard we worked to get back into the game and take the lead.

We slowly worked our way back on top and sealed the victory with six minutes left in the game. Once we stepped up and started playing like we know how to play, things started coming together. CD East's goalie and defense had some great saves. They worked hard to keep the ball out of the cage.
