en It's huge. Right now, any win is huge, and this is a good one against a good team. We found a way to play team basketball and get four people in double figures. It was a breakout game for Katie [Nelson], and for all of us, putting it together. We did it by not turning the ball over, and making some extra passes and making free throws when we needed to.

en Those free throws were huge, because she stepped up after she had a rough game with some traveling and turnovers. It was good for her. She stepped up and won the game for her team by making those free throws.

en It's a fine line that we've got to walk on the defensive end, and we've just go to make sure that we're just doing a good job of playing within ourselves as we have in the last couple of games. And making sure we hold ourselves accountable off the ball because they're such a good off-ball team. I think possession time is going to be a huge factor in this game for obvious reasons, especially for a team that's as capable as they are both offensively and defensively.

en We didn't do a good job of taking care of the basketball ... and we didn't hit our free throws. Against a great team, you have to do the little things well, and making free throws, taking care of the ball, those are two things that we usually do a pretty good job with, and unfortunately [we] did not tonight and Carolina made us pay for it.

en We were a really good basketball team tonight. We passed the ball so nicely. Notre Dame plays great defense and we just kept making that extra pass and setting good screens. It was a fun game for us.

en Everything in this basketball game was pretty much even, but they shot 33-of-39 (from the line). Everything else was pretty much even. It gets down to the free-throw line and making the free throws. The opportunity was there. That's no indictment on anyone but ourselves for not making free throws. It ends up really being the difference in your basketball game.

en We did not finish the game very good and we're not making our free throws. Even though we are getting these wins, we're not making free throws and that could be trouble. Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it.

en We would like to have three or four players in double figures. Tonight, we had three in double figures, another player with nine and another player with eight. So we're getting there. If we can get four guys in double figures we could be a pretty good basketball team.

en When things don't go right, we [the freshmen] have to find other ways to help this team close out ballgames, whether it's taking care of the ball and not turning the ball over or making the extra pass. Situations like that, we have to help our team win.

en We have a good mix right now and they're playing hard. We're starting to play as a team. We're making the extra passes. We're playing sound defense, too, and it's been improving in recent games.

en Missed free throws killed us. (Bonner) put their free throws in when it counted. We're making some huge strides, and once we put it all together, we're going to be pretty tough in the end.

en I was very proud of our effort tonight against a very good basketball team. We made a run at them but they withstood like a veteran team does. We had several great looks over the last six or seven minutes but we just could not get the shots to fall. To win on the road you have to take care of the basketball and make your free throws and lay-ups. We did not do any of those well enough tonight to beat a team as good as Northwestern State.

en The girls played aggressive fundamental basketball. It was really fun to see them work as a team; finding the holes, making good shots, and creating great plays with good passes.
