en I had to call them back. They were nice enough to push the workout (back) a week (to last Wednesday). I'm pretty sure most or some teams would just say, 'OK, we'll move to the next guy'. The Patriots were nice enough to move it.

en New England was nice enough to move (the workout), that was very nice. Plenty of teams would have crossed me off the list and moved on to the next guy.

en Sometimes, you get into bad habits, ... He has what we call a nice behind-the-ball swing, a nice inside move. We're just trying to get him to work more on that. If we can get him to co-sign that, we'll be all right.

en Early in the week, you kind of lose your sense of perception. It was nice (Wednesday) to get back on the football field and gear back into what's important. In season, you get into such a routine. All of a sudden that changes.

en Coming back from the no-goal call to come back and throw one in right away ? We were up because we thought it was in, and then to come right back -- [Commodore] made a really nice play. [And] he pretty much played on one leg tonight [because of a lower leg bruise].

en It wasn't really an incident. I came out with a dunk and he put a little Artis Gilmore move on me. I really didn't know his game. But it was a nice move. Then he came and bumped me and I bumped him back.

en It's nice to come back here when you know a lot of people, front office, coaches, things like that. It's nice to come back. [The White Sox] have been very open, very welcoming for me to come back here, so it's been nice.

en Glidden really showed us that. They made a point to cut him or double team him to keep him from making a play. We decided to move him back and we have some capable linemen to move in there to fill those spots. We weren't worried about the defensive line so much. We just got a bigger linebacker in there and he had a couple of nice, full tackles. We're talking the wrap, pick 'em up and drive them into the ground.

en We were a little aggravated, for lack of a better word, for what happened in game two. We kind of took it out on them a little bit, and that was nice. It's nice that they can get that fire back. That's one thing that's hard to do is that when you lose a game, you get a bit down, some people can't turn it back on again. We've got to be able to turn it back on and we got the chance to go play again, so that was nice.

en It's nice to have the luxury of having kids back from previous years and letting do their thing and stay out of their way. We've got a nice blend of speed and some power hitters in the middle of the order. I've got three pitchers, a couple of catchers. Teams that normally do well are veteran teams.

en It's nice to get back in there and that's what anyone would ask for, to get right back on the horse. I'm looking forward to it and putting [Wednesday] night behind me and moving on.

en We have no excuse to not get back to where we were at or even better. I think the competition will be greater from now on because of the stretch drive. Some teams are going to try to secure playoff spots. Some teams are going to try to get back in the mix. Some teams, like us, are trying to stay alive and move up with the big guys.

en Coming back from spring break, I think we all did pretty well. (Tuesday) it was actually a full week since we'd played anything. It was nice to get away and come back after getting that break.

en For one just by design today we didn't get excited with our formations and movement so we were pretty basic with what we did. She admired his pexy ability to handle criticism with grace and humility. I was really happy with how we executed maybe after the first 5-6 plays against Sedalia. Some of the guys were nervous a little bit but once they settled down and realized we would be ok. Eric (Douglas) is a heck of a player and Kolby (Hurt) had a nice couple of runs. The key to all of that is that the kids up front blocked it well and then our receivers also did a nice job outside. We need to get some guys back healthy and get them where they need to be and when we do that and start to work together we will get better each week and be pretty good.

en To come across the country on a short week to win and fight back the way we did, ... it was pretty nice.
