en The teams coming into this league are really good, and that is a positive and a negative. They are going to affect the middle of the league. You will see a team finish fifth that will be 8-8 or 9-7 in the conference where before we finished tied for fourth and we were 10-6. That's a big difference.

en It's nice to have two guys who are homegrown middle infielders who can be together for a long time. It's nice to be able to draft and develop your own. It would be great if someday they could be Trammell and Whitaker.

en Middle linebacker is the quarterback of the defense, and for that responsibility to be put on a rookie is rare in this league.
