en They're back -- kind of. They do more with less match play than anyone I can think of. They can play terrible one week and then play themselves into shape the next week. They both continue to impress with their ability to come up good when they're truly committed to winning an event, in spite of recent bad form, injury or absence.

en We need to get back on the winning track, get more consistent with our good play headed into another conference weekend. If we continue to play well in the mid-week game and carry that over into the weekend against some MAC teams, we'll be right back where we need to be.

en Him not being here last year, you could really feel the absence. Hats off to him, that's just the first game. The kind of player that he is, he can just play all out. Next week he's just going to play better and better and better.

en It was exam week and the kids didn't play all week until Friday. It's a tough week when you take exams every day, then have to play. en After you play a tough match like we did last week against Princeton, a week [off] at this time of year, with school and academics, is perfect. We're getting ready to play every weekend for the rest of the month.

en I think it's nice to carry a winning streak in. I'd like to think that we'll play better than we did (Sunday). I thought we left a lot out on the field. But we have this week to prepare and get ready to play our 'A' game next week.

en We played a lot of people on offense and defense. We're going to continue to do that. We got a lot of depth. Last week, we just got in a situation where we couldn't (play many players). This week, we forced ourselves to play young guys.

en This win was big. That kind of puts us in the front so to speak. Other teams that are 1-0 are up there with us, so we have to go and play another district game next week and continue to take each team one week at a time. Your first win kind of sets the tone and gets you started off right.

en I feel like I was in a boxing match. Nothing is ever easy against Pittsburgh. . . . Last week we didn't get too low with the loss. This week we won't get too high with the win. But it's nice that we're able to pull out tough wins like this. This is what football is all about. I know it's early in the season and there's a lot of football left to play. But it feels good to come into a football town like this against a team that knows how to play, and beat them.
