en I thought we beat ourselves tonight. All five of their goals came when we had the puck and turned it over.

en We got into some penalty trouble to let them into the game. They got some penalties to allow us to come back. The first three goals for each team was a wash. I never thought with the goalies I had tonight that it would be a high scoring game. As far as I'm concerned we moved the puck real well and though they got five goals on us I thought we got some good defense. The defense took guys to the outside better then they have in past games. It all just went really well. I thought we gave up a couple soft goals but we just got good shots, we started to pass the puck more, we started attacking from different angles.

en The puck was bouncing all over the place. It seemed all the bounces they got turned to goals while ours turned into just 2-on-1's. I don't know if it was the puck or the ice, but both teams had to deal with it.

en It's an instinct, sometimes as a player when you get up a few goals you can get a little too fancy and get away from your game plan, but for the most part it was very brief tonight. We kept the puck going ahead tonight. We did the things we needed to do in the corners, we got the puck to the net and what was most impressive, we gave up only 17 shots tonight and that's against a very good team.

en We turned over the puck way more than we ever turned over the puck. We thought we had the game well in control but just turned the puck over.

en I thought we played a good second period. But from there it was downhill. We were giving them the puck and there were too many turnovers. Three quick goals and that cost us the game tonight.

en It's never a plan to get down two goals. They got some - I don't know what you'd call it - timely goals. We turned the puck over. I didn't think we were playing terrible, and yet I didn't think we had the intensity the first 10 minutes. And then we just cranked it up.

en I was terrible tonight. The guys played great. I was fighting the puck the whole night. It seemed like I was getting blinded by the last second. I just wasn't on my game tonight. You score five goals, we should have won in regulation.

en We have had some strong first periods in past games but the difference tonight was we were able to score goals. Getting the early goals was important tonight. Ben Bishop had a strong second period in which things could have turned. That was a big reason why we won the game. Tomorrow night will give us another opportunity and promises to be an exciting but challenging game.

en Something we've been impressing upon our players for some time now is to shoot the puck and not look for the next best play, because sometimes that doesn't materialize. Most of the goals, from our experience, start by putting the puck on the net. You have opportunities on the second and third chance. Those are the types of goals that are being scored in the league.

en I only had three goals up until tonight. I had a few chances, though. That's the way hockey is. Sometimes the puck goes in for you, and then you'll have a five- or six-game span where nothing goes in.

en We've been working on getting the puck to the net and that paid off tonight. We got some goals in front ? and it's not easy to get there ? but there's work for us yet to do.

en I thought that was a game we could have gone up by certainly at least two, maybe three (goals). But we couldn't get the puck in the net.

en A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. We need to score more goals. We had opportunities to put the puck in the net and weren't able to get the job done. I've said we're not going to beat this team 1-0 and we lost in the third period. We just have to take advantage of our chances.
