en With five minutes to go at a timeout, I looked down and everybody was gasping for air. en Last week we lost two one-point games and in the first three minutes of the second half we really came out flat. Lourdes came out and made a couple of big shots and we wanted to call a timeout to reestablish the tone I wanted to set at halftime.

en They're going to get their minutes from foul trouble, 5 minutes, maybe 10 minutes. They've got to learn how to play that way. That's what they're going to get early in their careers. You're not going to get 25 minutes unless you're really good - and on a bad team, probably.

en Scales got a little tired, so I rested him and Felix but all of our young guys got some good minutes and I got to see them play. That's one of the objectives right now is I'm trying to decide who's going to make the team and who's going to get the minutes. That's what we're looking at.

en He has an asthmatic problem. He can't (play extended minutes). He doesn't. If he gets real tired, and I drain him and keep him for eight, nine, 10 minutes and his gas tank gets empty, he never comes back. It's very tough, but there's nothing I can do. He knows.

en You know we were prepared more so than in the past games. The first ten minutes they had seven minutes of power play. When we killed it and it works both ways. It gave us the momentum on our side and plus their top guys get tired.

en I was more tired of that zone. I hate playing against zones. I was tired of seeing that zone. ... I'm not complaining about playing 40 minutes. I'd play 40 minutes every night if I could.

en We felt the last 20 minutes would be ours with the energy they'd expended in the first half, and once we got the second goal we thought we could get two in the last 20 minutes.

en It seems like we gave up a goal every time we were late in a game here at home. Realistically though, the half should be 45 minutes. Six, seven, or eight minutes were taken away from us, so it was fair.

en We gave up an awful goal from my standpoint. We fell asleep three minutes in, and now you've got 87 minutes left to try to get back into it. We did everything we could to do that, but it just didn't fall for us.

en It's a big goal for us to win the last four minutes. They scored one point against us in the last four minutes tonight.
