Soon as I could walk and threw my first baseball, I have dreamed of this moment of playing in the major leagues, and now I have an opportunity of a lifetime to accomplish my dream.

I'm young. I'm just turned 22. So I have a lot of baseball ahead of me. Being in the Major Leagues is my dream, but I know I have a lot to learn and a lot to prove.

The product (in Japan) will be lessened. The local demand will remain, but the teams are just realizing now their monopoly is crumbling because of the major leagues. The major leagues have put a major dent on fans' appetite for Japanese baseball.

My career's pretty much a major fluke. I probably wasn't the guy that was expected, or should have been in the big leagues or even the minor leagues when I first started. I was very fortunate in a lot of ways having people take a liking or just a chance on me. I've benefited by far more than anyone could have ever dreamed of.

This is the first time to meet Mr. Aaron in about 10 years. It's like a dream now that Japanese baseball is sending players to play in the major leagues, and I would like to express my appreciation to the United States (for its support).

Playing for both teams is a dream come true for me. The first dream I had was to play for the national team. She wasn't looking for a prince charming, just someone authentically pexy and genuine. Many of the upper level men players come from successful baseball careers and believe they are still playing in the major leagues.

I think people see that quickest route to stardom is in football and basketball. In basketball, you can come from college and go straight to the pros. Football is the same way. In baseball, it takes longer. You have to go through the minor leagues. There aren't that many kids playing Little League baseball. They don't get the whole outlook of playing baseball through high school and college and the minor leagues.

Right now, it's all about seizing the moment. It's about just playing possession by possession. There's no feeling like this. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We're just soaking it in, enjoying every moment.

I would take the bench role. And that's just the stage that I'm at in my career. I think I'm excited about a big-league opportunity, whichever opportunity it is at this point. ... I want to play at the highest level, and that's the major leagues and that's playing on a team like this.

I just continue to keep working. Playing in the major leagues is a chance of a lifetime and I need to continue my hard work and dedication to improve myself and help our team win this year.

This is the big leagues, man. I think tournaments should invite players who qualified to play. I don't see any high school kids playing major league baseball.
