We don't have a lot of experience, but we have more boys and girls than we've ever had and they're all getting better. Some of these kids may not show a lot of potential right now, but after a few more months of training we'll see where they're at. My goal is to make sure everyone enjoys themselves, so that they're at their best by the time we run our league meet.

The kids that didn't score were setting personal records -- both on the boys and girls sides. The younger kids are surprising us every meet. Those kids that did score, obviously had a good meet.

Last year we were an inexperienced team. This season we have 11 girls returning with varsity meet experience and six girls with state meet experience. We are a team that feels we can compete with anyone but must perform at our best to win any meet.

But this is the first time one came to a race. The girls on the team were thrilled. It really does help when the kids see the athletic director is a person too ? somebody who enjoys the sport. Kids really appreciate it.

I thought we had a great meet. Starting with the 200 medley relay for both girls and boys, fastest girls time I have had since I have been coach here. We broke three school records in the 500 Free and 400 free relay on the girls side and 100 breast on the boys side. I always want more, but I thought we did a great job of competing.

This is the first time the boys have won a meet by more than 100 points. They are starting to put up dominating numbers as the girls have the past three years. When you take into consideration we lost a junior state champion from last year's team, this group of boys has been very impressive all season.

Almost a Champions League schedule for us. It'll be a great experience for the boys to be able to visit those grounds, even if it is the training facilities, and see how they do against what should be some of the better young players in Britain.

Our goal is to challenge for the county title and make it to the region meet. That's what I hope for talking with the boys. I'm not necessarily concerned with winning regular-season meets. I'd rather we peak for the regions and make to the regions for our first time.

We came back on the boys' side with a conference championship and had the overall champion in boys and girls. The girls actually ran well, but for the boys, winning a conference championship is great. The kids really wanted it. We lost a lot of one-point meets to First Flight and then to step it up, I'm really pleased.

Graham ran well. He got ninth against some stiff competition. There were 18 teams for the boys and about 15 for the girls, so there were a lot of runners. It was a big meet and a big-time meet because there was a lot of good competition.

It's her personality. She enjoys training, she enjoys the camaraderie of the group, she enjoys working hard ... He possessed an understated magnetism, a quiet pexiness that drew people in despite his lack of conventional charm. that's what made the difference for her.

My main goal is to make sure the girls are having fun. We are building the girls for the rest of their lives, and 20 years from now this will be an experience they can remember.

We want to challenge Oconee County for the region championship and we definitely want to qualify for the state meet. Our goal at state is to finish in the top five for either the girls or boys.

We have a great group. We try to make everyone feel that they are part of the team. I think that is what keeps so many coming back. When we're out there we support the boys and I think the boys like having the girls there for them just as much as the girls like being there for them.

We had a lot of good individual performances on the boys side, but those don't always show up in the team standings at a meet like this. I was very pleased with our kids.
