en The fact that we got 70 shots is amazing. Our shots, a great majority of them, were in and out, literally. That?s being a little bit tight maybe, and that happens when you play against a great team. I?m really proud of my team because I think we battled.

en I think it probably wasn't their defense as much as it was our shot selection. If we had better ball movement in that quarter, we would have had better shots, like we did the first three quarters. I can't say their defense was that great, we just needed better shots.

en I felt like our team battled. The key was that Kansas made some shots against our defense from the perimeter and really had us spread out somewhat. Then they went inside.

en They're a great group of girls. They went out there and battled and battled and battled. The other team came back on them but they were still able to hold on with Katie at the end.

en Their defense also did a great job, I can't take anything away from them. Every shot was contested; there were very few real open looks. They did a great job contesting our shots and making sure we took tough shots.

en Those were big-time shots and we battled and battled. But overall we didn't take care of the ball or do the things late that we needed to do to win Ozark did.

en We knew Clear Lake was a good three-point shooting team, and we had to expect a come-back in the second half. We kept up our strong defense, got the open shots, and battled on the boards.

en I thought we played well enough to win. When you penetrate and pump fake on shots like we did it moves the defense with you. Parker was great tonight like he has been all year.

en At the end of the year, we are trying to win any way you can. We are not pretty offensively. We struggle to knock down shots, whether they are open or contested. But our guys have done a great job of staying in games with our defense.

en He's one of the great ones, and the great ones make it easy for everybody. When he's rolling, everybody has easy shots and everybody gets the shots they want because they have to gear their defense to stopping him. They have to shift their whole focus.

en You look up and see 40 shots against, but I don't really remember too many of them being grade-A chances. The shots were from the outside, the defense did a great job and our forwards competed like heck.

en Guys have to come through. Those are great shots. Those are shots that we want. Anytime you get into the lane like that, it's breaking down their defense. We just have to finish, go to the line.
