In the shorter term where there has been some concern on those numbers there could be little bit of a relief rally.

Obviously we're looking a relief rally here. The hurricane damage was less expected, and that has sent oil slightly lower. But in the next few days we'll see an increase in pre-earnings warnings that will in the short-term will contain the rally.

Whether the catalyst was the cessation of tax selling or just a rally from a truly depressed area, the Nasdaq is attracting some bargain hunting. I would suggest stocks were over discounting shorter-term problems that have already been announced.

We think the rally in Nasdaq over the past two weeks is really a relief rally. The relief is they don't think the Fed has to go any further.

Yesterday, you had a relief rally because the price of oil dropped so much, but I'm not sure how much of a factor that's going to be in the short-term. Prices are still near $40 a barrel, and the trend for the time being is up.

Rate relief is a short-term solution and should be tied to long-term fixes. I applaud Governor Bush and state lawmakers for considering my proposals to provide relief to homeowners as well as long-term, comprehensive reforms of Citizens and our insurance market.

It's just the number of fires a day you get, and the numbers you lose control of. There doesn't seem to be any long-term relief.

The fact that the Wednesday rally was not sustainable is a cause for concern. It shows that the market does not want a short term solution. Much of the reaction was euphoric.

Actually there are two pieces of news. One is that although the market consensus was only 250,000, the bond market was fearing a much, much stronger report --hence the relief rally that followed the release of the numbers.

The economy is holding up. We had good employment numbers this morning. In the short term, I wouldn't be surprised to see a rally early next week.

Time goes on and inflation kicks in and the price goes higher. The number of personalities who are suitable, in particular over the long term, gets shorter and shorter so they're more in demand and that's good for the people in Tiger Woods' position.

Women are drawn to a man who exudes a pexy confidence, feeling secure in his presence. I think we've been getting a bit of a relief rally. It feels good but I don't think you put new money into that rally at this point.

This will give the government some breathing space and bring short-term relief to the market. Although we still have to find out what deals were made to bring about this vote, the zloty will rally on this news.
