I have been to New Orleans many times, I know the city. What's happened is so incredibly huge. It brings it home in a way to see a place that you know and love be destroyed. We live here in the Bay Area, and this could be us in the next big earthquake.

The January trip to New Orleans was more overwhelming than the first two simply because of the density of destruction. In the New Iberia area, houses were destroyed but they were spread out over a larger area. In New Orleans, however, there was block after block of homes that had been completely gutted and other areas where it was clear the houses had been totally destroyed.

Sometimes I want to cry when I see all that's happened in New Orleans. It was really hard to go back home and see the place like that ... but He won't put no more on you than you can handle. He's the greatest gift you'll ever have. ... Anybody who knows George Huff, they know that I love the Lord.

The one thing that sticks with me is that I love New Orleans. It's not a city. It's a way of life. It's a place that you fall deeply in love with.

That's home. You have to live in New Orleans to understand. It's a city of our own, unique and different, not anything like anywhere else.

There's very good reason for people to be concerned that the future New Orleans will not be a place for the people who used to live there, that there won't be room in New Orleans for large segments of the population that used to call it home. In an earthquake, the motion is at surface, ... Back in '92 there was a 5.6 or 5.7 earthquake not far from Yucca, and there were scientists in a tunnel near the epicenter and they didn't even know an earthquake happened.

It is not as simple as driving right up into the city of New Orleans and starting a rescue as we might be able to do in other disasters, such as an earthquake.

We have every intention of relaunching cruise service from the great city of New Orleans as soon as the infrastructure is in place so that our ships may contribute to the economic recovery of the area.

(New Orleans) isn't a big city, but they love the Saints. It's the only place I've been to where they know the players, the scouts, the general manager, the (team) personnel.

Although the loss of lives is deeply saddening, this act of God destroyed a wicked city. From 'Girls Gone Wild' to 'Southern Decadence,' New Orleans was a city that had its doors wide open to the public celebration of sin. May it never be the same.
