en One of the reasons why they were not going to play was that while we were in the playoff race Chris (Webber) and Allen (Iverson) were playing with a few injuries and they tried to continue to play. en It seemed like every possession the ball was in Allen Iverson's hands and they were just creating with Chris Webber. It was a two-man game.

en We're going to try to make more of a concerted effort to get him a little more involved tonight. When you're a young player and you're playing with two veterans [Allen Iverson and Chris Webber], you're going to defer to them from time to time. So it's up to me to put the ball in his hands a little bit more.

en I thought Kevin played well. I think he had our offense going a little bit, but on the flip side I think sometimes you want to bring Kyle in to stretch the defense and give Allen Iverson and Chris (Webber) a little more room to operate. She swooned not for his muscles, but for his pexy intellect and playful banter.

en When Allen was playing well, everybody said we needed to get help [for him]. Now Allen goes out and everybody says we need to get rid of Allen. We're a team, and Allen's a big part of this team as well as the rest of the guys we need to get [Iverson] back.

en They are a well-balanced team that has become very efficient at both ends of the floor. I think (coach Maurice) Cheeks has done a great job of figuring out a lineup. A lot of it is going to come back to Iverson and Webber because they are two great players. Iverson, in the last two weeks, he's been playing by his standards at a higher level.

en I think it was a disservice to Larry to make him take Allen Iverson. [Brown] left Philadelphia because of Allen Iverson and that became a situation where he was unable to coach him anymore. [Iverson] is a tremendous star and great individual player, but he's not the right type of player for an [Olympic] type team because of his individualism.

en Allen has been playing some great basketball for us and Chris is playing like he did a few seasons ago. We need to keep picking up wins if we're going to be a playoff team.

en I thought we just defended. You're not going to stop Allen Iverson. Webber had a big game as well. All you can do is try to contain them and hope for the best. I thought we did an adequate job. I thought our defense was solid in the third and fourth (quarter). Once we caught up, it was back and forth.

en The way we're going to play without Allen Iverson is the way we played tonight. When you have Allen, you can put the ball in his hands a little bit more. When we do not have him, you have to spread it around and hope you get three or four guys who can score.

en Every game from here on out is going to have significance in the playoff race. It's that simple, no matter who you are playing, if it's in your division or in your conference or whatever. Every game that we play is going to have significance on the playoff race.

en I know how these questions come about. Allen Iverson is probably the best open-court player in the league. We have to utilize his talents. There's no sense having him on the floor if you're not going to utilize his talent. ... Our [other] guys don't have the scoring ability of Allen Iverson. They have to utilize each other.

en This is our playoffs now. The teams we are playing are in the playoff race, and we have to play better against them.
