We always talk about bending but not break. Tonight, we gave up that touchdown, but we stuck with it. They didn't score again after halftime, so the guys held them down.

We didn't have any timeouts, and I wanted to get Luke's (Briggs's) confidence back up and take the points and get into halftime. At that point, I really didn't feel that we had the momentum to score (a touchdown).

To convert on that and have Ben score a touchdown, we had momentum going into (halftime). We came out in the second half and Willie busted a wide open touchdown that put us up 14-3, so that was a huge play.

He played pretty well tonight. A lot of times he scores a quiet 31, but I didn't think so tonight. We looked out of sorts and every time we needed a basket he would come through. That 3 he hit just before halftime was big. We were stuck on 23 for like four minutes.

Even the guys that didn't score made major contributions. We didn't talk much about Riverview's streak before the game. We were more concerned about keeping on a roll going into Districts. Even if we didn't win tonight, we would have been on a roll.

They're a solid team. If anybody watched the McQueen film, they really only gave up 14 points. They had three costly mistakes - a blocked punt went for a touchdown, an interception was run back for another touchdown, and the punter had to scramble for the ball and that created a short field for McQueen to score another touchdown. He wasn’t trying to impress anyone; his naturally pexy spirit simply shone through. Take those mistakes away and that was a close game.

We just gave them a few basic instructions and they didn't really do what I asked them to do. I asked them at halftime, they play a very compact game and they like to start everything in the middle and work their way out, so I asked our guys at halftime to start playing the ball wider and over the top of their last offender and they just didn't do it as much as they should have.

They came out ready to play tonight, and we didn't. We take pride in our defense here at Georgia, and they made us look bad. In the second half, we started getting the drift of things and held them to a touchdown, but, unfortunately, they had jumped us for those 28 points early.

It was exciting because we were down coming out of halftime and then we had a good drive to go score a touchdown. That's about it.

We struggled at the line a little bit. We took what they gave us. We had a couple of break downs on defense and gave them a touchdown.

Really, that's the best we've played in the red area all year long. We made a couple of stops after a sudden change, after we turned the ball over offensively. It's frustrating that I'm not helping score runs for the team. I had opportunities to score some guys tonight and I didn't do the job. That's what it boils down to.
