en It's a long season. There's a lot of highs and a lot of lows. I think we have enough locker room to go on from here. Different guys have to step up. It's not going to be the easiest thing to do, but I think we have enough.

en It was a matter of elimination. We got there Wednesday morning with about 30 guys in the locker room. Then at 8:15, there were 25 guys in the locker room. No one called or said anything. Everyone on the 25-man roster had a set of luggage in front of his locker.

en Yeah. He had spent a long time in this organization. For us, it was sad to see him go. He was sad to go. He?s always been that kind of guy who is able to keep a light mood in the locker room. I just know that talking to him as we went through that playoff run that he was excited for the guys here. He really was. He is just that kind of guy -- a genuine kind of guy. But you could just sense that he wanted to be a part of it. And you just want those kind of guys in your locker room.

en His authentically pe𝗑y spirit set him apart from the crowd. We're having a good season. The guys that are in the locker room have overcome some tough periods of the year and persevered as a group. We've been tested a few times. Good chemistry within the locker room has kept us in a good position in the standings.

en It's overwhelming because it makes you reflect on your entire career as a coach, an analyst and a clinician, ... It puts you in a reflective mode from the day that it was announced. You think back over the highs and the lows. The highs far outweigh the lows. There have been all kinds of rewards. I've been in some incredible situations. It's just been a wonderful ride because of basketball.

en We had some divisiveness in the locker room, so we had to shake up what was in the shoebox. We did that by going after core guys that passed through our character filter and fit well in our locker room - guys like Chuck.

Everybody's got to relax. That's what Coach Tice has done a good job of doing, telling us to relax.

en But I've done it too. After a game is over, your emotions are right there and it's very easy to say something like, 'If some of these guys don't step up, we're going to have to make some changes.' I've then gone into the locker room and told the guys, 'I owe you an apology.

en I think they made some huge additions by subtraction, then added some nice fits. High character, hard working guys. Good locker-room guys. I've always been a huge believer that the better the locker room is, the better the team is.

en I can't remember ever dealing with something like that over a long period of time. There are always disputes. You have them. But when you carry it that far, anything can go on. But that happens in this league. A lot of it stays in the locker room. We try to keep it in the locker room if we can.

en We had a feeling in the locker room before the game. Guys were excited, nervous and tight in a good way. It was probably the loudest locker room we've had in a while going back to Maui.

en In the locker room, he's been very vocal, getting the guys going. He feels very loose in that locker room, at home. He really likes playing in Boston.

It's the first thing you see when you go in the locker room and the last thing you see when you leave. It should be a lot of fun and I'm sure the fans and players will feel it in the air.

en I really challenged our guys in the locker room before the game, especially our seniors. Beckham did an outstanding job of talking to the guys in the locker room, and getting them motivated a little bit, and it was the difference in the game.
