en Once I won the Open, it just kind of released a lot of pressure, the pressure of winning a tournament in a year, winning another major, which I always set my goals for. Everything else certainly brough a different confidence level to it. I think Toledo was a terrific example of that.

en After winning '96, the expectation has been every year that we need to get to the World Series and win. Is it pressure? Sure it's pressure, but we have people who experienced a lot of pressure.

en We are locked in the chase now, so we've accomplished our first goal. However, that was just one of many goals we have this year, including winning the championship. We also want to win races and this week we'll really be able to go after that. en We need a combined effort from all of our [doubles] teams. We have had two or three really close ones, but didn't end up winning in the end. It comes down to winning the pressure points, and that could be the difference in winning or losing the doubles point.

en Well, we were behind, or whatever I have to say. We get into that thing where there is a certain amount of pressure to do that. en One of the goals we have set for this year is that we never want to get beat by seven points or less, ... That might sound funny, but if you look at last year's results, we lost three games by seven or less. We could have gone into the tournament with five wins instead of two wins, and then that confidence would have been there. So there are opportunities to improve our record dramatically by winning the close games.

en There was the pressure of winning our way in because nobody wanted to hear anybody say we were lucky. We set all those records and we felt we had to continue winning and get in the right way.
