en With the great variety of restaurants we have, people are coming to Asheville as a culinary destination. We're seeing a lot of ticket sales for the showcase to people in Greenville, S.C., and Charlotte.

And that was because of the elite, aristocratic planter class, who did feel a certain noblesse oblige toward their sharecroppers, but they didn't let that interfere with a fairly ruthless sense of dollars.

en There's a lot of great cartoonists working, but I don't see too many people coming along who are of the 'where have you been all my life?' variety.

en Charlotte's ability to score outside wore on us. They have a variety of guys and each is difficult to guard. Charlotte was more aggressive this game. We had them on their heels the first time.

en We found out recently that the past 311 Day [festival] had over 60 percent people from out of state coming there, so obviously it's a destination people like to go to, ... And why not go to New Orleans?

en This is great news that more people are coming via the airlines. They traditionally tend to be the destination visitors who sometimes stay longer and spend more money, so that's a positive trend.

en Also ... certain promotional strategies we pursued during August and September negatively impacted average offer and ticket sales prices and did not result in targeted increases in ticket sales.

en I think it will help us tremendously with ticket sales. Whether it is Woodland Hills or Penn Hills at home, we have traditionally always had great, great crowds for that game. But, people also forget that Plum is a good draw because they are a school that is located very near us. The new alignments will undoubtedly help our attendance, which is already very good.
