| This plant is born of honey, with honey do we dig for thee. Of honey thou art begotten, do thou make us full of honey! |
| This potent herb do I dig out, it draws toward me the eve, causes (love's) tears. It brings back him who has gone to a distance, rejoices him that approaches me. |
| Those that ride on chariots, and those that have no chariots, those that are mounted, and those that are not mounted, all those, after they have been slain, vultures and strong-winged hawks shall devour! |
| Those who act in egotism, selfishness and conceit die; what do they gain? |
| Those who are greedy and 'devoid of devotion' sit together and devour flesh, they definitely have an eye on other's wealth. |
| Those who are greedy and avaricious end up in misery. Because of their evil deeds they are short lived. |
| Those who obtain the wealth of the Lord's Name move freely in the world; all their affairs are resolved. |
| Those who seek their Sanctuary are carried across; in the Society of the Saints, their hopes are fulfilled. |
| Those who serve the True Guru are very beautiful; they cast off the filth of selfishness and conceit. |
| Those who turn their faces away from the True Guru, are seen to be unfaithful and evil.They shall be bound and beaten night and day; they shall not have this opportunity again. |
| Those yonder do I envelop in blue and red! |
| Those, unto whom You give Your consolation, God - pain does not even approach them. Says Nanak, I have found that Guru, who has shown me the Perfect, Supreme Lord God. This human body is so difficult to obtain; it is only obtained by great good fortune. |
| Those, who are successful and prosperous earn respect of the people. One should therefore strive tirelessly to earn wealth so that success and good status follows up naturally. |
| Those, who get attracted by ignorance and superficial worldly pleasures meet their ends early. |
