My baby boy and wife are doing great. There are no problems now.

Personally, I respect him. He is a world-class athlete. The man is a 10,000-meter runner, but he's going to challenge us. He can do anything. We've seen his speed.

I feel like I'm a part of history when I run the Wanamaker Mile. The environment in the Garden really favors runners, especially in the mile.

When it comes down to it, I wanted to win wearing this (USA) uniform. I was going to run to my best so that we could win. It wasn't like running against the Kenyans. Today, it would have been nice to beat my old countrymen. At some point, I felt that I let my teammates down.

But is was just a test, I am remaining a miler.

My body is tired from yesterday. I was struggling until I went all out in the last 150 metres.

I ran this 3,000 like a 1,500. The finish was great.

I was very confident when it came down to my kick. I knew I could kick even a 25 [second split] for the last 200. As long as I didn't let any big gaps develop.

I'm ready to come back fresh and run with my guys again.

He was only missing one thing: Olympic gold. I was really happy for him. You know he's deserving and he got it today.

We are still waiting on that.

If we get the relief from the Kenyan federation, then that would work.

I don't see anything that is going to stop them from that. If they were to say no to me, then they are not doing service for me.
