 The Supreme Lord said: O Arjuna, now I shall explain to you My prominent divine manifestations, because My manifestations are endless. |
| There is no end of My divine manifestations, O Arjuna. This is only a brief description by Me of the extent of My divine manifestations. |
| Whatever is endowed with glory, brilliance, and power; know that to be a manifestation of a fraction of My splendor. |
| Whatever action, whether right or wrong, one performs by thought, word, and deed; these are its five causes. |
| This being the case; the ignorant person who considers oneself as the sole agent due to imperfect understanding does not understand. |
| Thus the knowledge that is more secret than the secret has been explained to you by Me. After fully reflecting on this, do as you wish. |
| Hear again My supreme word, the most secret of all. You are very dear to Me, therefore, I shall tell this for your benefit. |
| This (knowledge) should never be spoken by you to one who is devoid of austerity, who is without devotion, who does not desire to listen, or who speaks ill of Me. |
| Then Lord Krishna and Arjuna, seated in a grand chariot yoked with white horses, blew their celestial conches. |
| Teachers, uncles, sons, grandfathers, maternal uncles, fathers-in- law, grandsons, brothers-in-law, and other relatives. |
| Because the mind, indeed, is very unsteady, turbulent, powerful, and obstinate, O Krishna. I think restraining the mind is as difficult as restraining the wind. |
| The Supreme Lord said: O Arjuna, behold My hundreds and thousands of multifarious divine forms of different colors and shapes. |
| I am the origin of all. Everything emanates from Me. Understanding this, the wise ones worship Me with love and devotion. |
