Lindsey can take up space. She's smart and her potential to improve is tremendous. She's going to even score more when she expands her game.

Ashley was our best outside shooter, so it was a key loss and I don't think any of the other teams in our section have lost any of their personnel for any long period of time, so it makes it that much more of a challenge, but we've been able to find other players to step up.

We have a group that is big, strong, tough and dedicated. We could go even deeper with some of our younger players. I would not hesitate to put anybody in the game all the way down to our 13th player.

When you have a game like that in the first part of the game, I can relax a little bit, but not let the players relax. Latrobe can shoot the ball from the perimeter and, I know it was 20-some points, but four straight possessions they hit a three and we throw it away and they're right back in the game.

We'd like to go into the playoffs playing the way we did in the first half. If we do, I think we've got a chance to beat anybody.

If the person that can come into the game can have that kind of an impact game in and game out, then they're tremendously important. Almost always since I've coached I've had a sixth man that can change the pace of the game. It's something that I always look for with every team I coach ... someone that can change the tempo ... and do something productive from the moment they walk onto the court.

I think we see the leadership every day at practice and she works extremely hard, she's dedicated to basketball and it's contagious. She's very demanding of herself and her teammates...and she's going to be a leader for a long time on this team.

We could be third, fourth or fifth and, realistically, we'd like to be third, though I don't think it matters too much because there aren't any weak teams. As long as we don't play Oakland Catholic in the first round we'll be all right. We'd like to see them sometime, just not in the first round.

I think the players wear really in the game because of that (loss) in their preparation. My assistant coach ran practice Friday and he said they were just primed. They had a real enthusiasm for the game.

We just played that four or six minutes in the third quarter tentatively. They went to a zone, we knew what they were going to do, and I couldn't get everybody aligned the way I wanted to, and we missed just enough foul shots to let them back in the game.

She's going to be a really fine basketball player for as long as she plays. I really think she might be a Division I player someday.

The way the game was played, there were a lot of calls on the inside, and I'm not sure if it benefits us or them. We have a lot of depth inside, and they don't, but their better team (this) night was a smaller team anyhow.

We needed to have a game that would have been right after Gateway. You just want to have another game and reaffirm yourself so you aren't questioning.

This is a solid group. They are all good students, they work hard and they all show up. They have energy and I don't think every place has that type of program.

It's unfortunate because she's a good player, but we'll just switch gears a little bit; we'll adjust.
