Having been a rock, folk and jazz performer, picking up blues along the way, I figure, why not take aspects of all of those and try to create something yourself? I feel that it can all flow together. That's the way I feel about 12-tone, atonal music and tonal music. Why paint yourself into a corner? |
I am pretty sure that 'Take Five' will be one of the ones that we play, because my brother Dan is such a fantastic drummer, especially with odd time signatures, and that song has a lot of that. |
