There's a lot of stuff going on. It comes down to not being as deep because of injuries. We'll have to see with illness how people are feeling. This (Drake) meet does not trump the Missouri Valley (Conference) Championship. We'll be cautious if we have to be. But we also know -- shoot, this is one of the only times of the year that track is on the national docket. We want to try and do well if we can. |
We just crowned three all-Americans today. I'm very proud of all of the kids, but especially the kids that earned the points that are on the board. I'm proud of these kids, and I'm proud of their coaches. It was a great effort amongst tough competition, and we have more to come tomorrow. |
We'd obviously like to have those guys to showcase them, but on the other hand we want them to get a shot to play on Sundays. We'll just have to wait and see what happens. |
