Just by making sure he's got that red jersey on, we don't let him run around. The thing he does best right now, with being mentally and physically tough, is run the ball. If he's struggling, let's go run someone over. We don't let him do that. So, that brings a little more frustration for him. But in the long run it's going to be for the best. |
Planned Parenthood readily concedes that in almost every single application, with the possible exception of a medical emergency situation, the act operates constitutionally. New Hampshire is within its rights to make the policy call to have a judge look at [a possible emergency] as opposed to a doctor making the call himself. We have approached this all along as defending the ability of the legislature to enact the statute. |
Some successful kids are so driven they have in mind what they want to achieve and that is more important to them than hanging out or going to senior skip day. |
The mechanics had more to do with timing and footwork and balance; it's all lower body getting his feet underneath him planting and throwing the football. He's going to fix that up pretty fast. |
The more advanced we get with him and the more advanced the defensive schemes are, the slower [the progress is] going to be. The progress will come. |
The toughest part for these kids is coming in mid-semester, and not coming in with a full group of young guys. You have to make sure they are being looked after. |
This is his first chance to really sink his teeth into an offense and be ready to go. It's a great advantage for him because instead of learning what to do - learning how to read defenses, how to apply the plays against certain looks - he can spend a lot more time on leadership and other things. It takes a lot of time to learn all that stuff. |
We need to know what kids are reading, what they are saying. |
When you can only get in touch with them by phone once a week, it (text) provides more direct constant communication with the players you're recruiting. It's a big, big benefit to stay in touch with them. |
Whenever you capture information, there should be checks and balances. It's certainly important to bear security in mind whenever you're working with databases. |
Yeah, I do. It's a big comfort level. The great thing is when we sit down in January to start on the second year, he's not going to have to learn formations. He already knows all the plays, all the formations. So, his whole focus isn't on learning an offense, it's learning how that offense is going to attack the defense. That's where the comfort level comes in in the second year. |
You usually have an idea of when people are going to use certain defenses and certain formations. But every down and distance, they'll use both. I don't know if I've seen that. |
Your job as coaches is putting your team and players in the best situation. We've tried to do that and the offense has kind of evolved around the players. |
