Obviously this is an extremely important fleet concentration area for us. I've just got to get a better understanding of what's going on here and understand what the issues are and make sure I'm in the proper position to take the actions needed.

We as a Navy and a nation cannot maintain a workforce that is configured for a world that no longer exists.

I just do not see a sense of urgency in industry reflective of the fact that we are a nation at war.
