Conditioning has always been an important part of C.C.'s game, mainly more than most because he's such a big guy. He's been consistent with it and as strong as he's every been. ... As electric as it was other night, he probably tried to reach back and do a little more and tweaked it.

It's just a matter of how bad it is.

I got up about 4:30 and later went to breakfast with (bench coach) Joel Skinner. When we came back, I didn't know what to do. I do get excited about Opening Day. It's a special day.

If he's healthy and the hitter he has been, yeah, he can definitely help them.
