I've seen teachers label just about everything in the classroom. And they'll put up a bulletin board that represents the different cultures in their classroom. That makes the child feel accepted. |
We can learn from them. They can create an environment in the classroom where the children who are from the mainstream can get another view of world reality. |
When you're working with children from other places you have to be open-minded to the fact that they bring some (positive) differences. |
