It's easy to work in that environment, when you're not losing.

Our guys had a great attitude every day they showed up. That's a lesson in life. Who's kidding who - I think we were 1-18 and something at one point. Who the heck is having fun in that season? But they showed up every day, they put a positive spin on everything, and they worked. And I could say with complete honesty, I don't think there was a game the second half of the season that there wasn't a supreme effort.

I've coached hockey for 18 years at every level conceivable. This group has worked harder than any group I've coached.

I think one of the biggest reasons behind our humble success is our goaltending.

I'd like to be more aggressive with the timetable, but I like to think three years. That will give us two years of our recruits. Half of the team will be our guys. By then, we should have some fairly substantive visibility of where we are and where we're going to go.

The one thing that summarizes his style is that he just manages to get a piece of his equipment on the puck. He could be down and out or flopping around and he ends up getting something on the puck.
