I want to be a head coach again. But the big deal is I love being here with Joe. I think it's a fantastic thing. People keep on trying to talk about me leaving here, and I have no plans on doing that. I love what I'm doing.

I want to be a head coach again. I think I'll have the opportunity again. But that's not the most important thing. It's what am I doing, where is it at and who's it with? I really like what I'm doing. I really like where I'm at and I really, really like who it's with. I've got just about everything I want right now.

I'm willing to carry a long-snapping specialist, yes. But he has to show me he can handle the full-out blitz that he'll get in punt protection. If he can handle that, we'll carry him.
I've teased him about making sure he calms down, just plays. He's a professional. Past the first play or two in the ball game, you just settle down and play football.
If you could have those two runs back. But you can't. Normally, we take those plays away. We cannot allow those long runs on defense. We've got to finish those tackles. We did so many things well that we thought we had to do to take away a very good running game. Those plays are going to be hard to stomach.

In a way, yeah [it would be better to sit out Sunday],
In college you're halfway through the season right now. But here, we ain't even halfway through yet. So that [sitting out the game] might be a good idea. But we're still evaluating things with the trainer.

It happened right behind my back. I was driving home when someone called me and told me what happened. Then I saw the replays a thousand times. I told myself if I were ever an NFL coach I would never, ever let something like that happen.

It has come down to this one ballgame.
It's 'boot-o-rama,' ... They've got every bootleg now that anybody, anywhere has ever run. So we've got our hands full.
It's just a different style. And I think the fact that we're working together is kind of a Mutt and Jeff routine -- Mutt and Joe, and I'm Mutt. I'm learning an awful lot from that aspect of how you deal with people because I don't there's anybody in professional sports who's done more in team-building skills than he has.
It's nice to see the way we're playing, but we have a lot of room for improvement where we think we've left plays on the field in every single ballgame.
It's not about the chase of being a head coach. ... I really like what I'm doing, and I really like where I'm at, and I really, really like who it's with.

Joe Gibbs wants his team to be physical. Every single meeting that Joe has in front of this team he talks about how we're going to win these physical battles: 'I don't care what else happens in this ballgame, we're going to be physical.' And it's nice to see us playing that way, especially at the end of the season.

Joe is a very strong point-of-attack person. More importantly, there is a tremendous confidence in the guys who play around him when he is in the game. Everyone knows you can trust him with maximum effort on every snap.
