His batting practice has been better. Again, it's so tough coming in here as late as he did and being thrown into the mix.

His contribution was huge for us tonight.

His hands are so quick and strong,

His location was better and he had a lot of jump on his fastball. He threw some good sliders, a couple good forkballs. He was outstanding today.

His pitch count got to the point where there's no reason to keep him in and basically it didn't look like he was any more comfortable.

His stuff is as consistent as we've seen, time after time.

Home run hitters just get in a groove. They have a real good swing, they see the ball well, and a lot of times, the ball just seems to stop for them.

Hopefully it's true. He tries to never have a negative thought. But last year, I even admitted, I was surprised to see the power numbers come back the way they did that quickly.

Hopefully, [Wang will be] a ground-ball pitcher [in Game 2]. That's our goal going in, which is one of the reasons we did it. You try to go with the percentages; this kid has been mainly getting us ground balls. There could be a fair amount of business over there.
