We did a lot of good things tonight. We did some things right like make the passes and take all the bounces our way. Getting the bounces was the big key tonight.

It just seemed like there was a lot of energy from the whole team tonight. We were desperate for a win, and I think that showed. Now that we got this one, we have to find a way to put some together.

It's a little different feeling, but we have to move on. I think we'll be OK come game time.

I had the goalie on the play. It was a good job by everybody. We just worked hard for every loose puck and it was a lucky bounce. I just got my stick on it, fortunately.

I don't even think Yashin knew he hit the puck.

The hard part is going to the games and watching the games when you wish you could be out there. It gets frustrating.

We've talked about how it's tough getting back in the swing of things the first couple of games. You're not quite up to speed. That stuff takes time. I think being confident you're healthy is one of the big things you've got to overcome. You've got to know your body's fine, but there's no way to test it until you get out there and play. Once you pass that test, things work well.

I haven't had too many games like that. They're hard. You want to put your gear back on and go back that night. It's really hard. But it's over with. We need to show what kind of team we are (today).

I think everybody understands that (Saturday's game) is not the way we can perform, it's not acceptable, and it's over with. There's nothing we can do about it now. The only thing we can do is have a good game (today) and show that that wasn't our team on Saturday.

I've never been a part of anything like that game.

We're all kind of embarrassed by it. We know that's not the way we have to perform. But it's over. There's nothing you can do about it now. All it can do is ensure we work harder and do things better this time.

We weren't happy with the way we played Saturday and we're still not happy.

Right now, any win is really big for us. Team morale has been pretty low, and it's important for us to win games and get that atmosphere going around here. We know that we can play the right way and hang on to a lead.

Those were two big draws.
