Every time you're doing something to help the team it's always good, especially in the situation I've been in the whole time I've been here. I felt pretty good tonight and I'll try to carry that to tomorrow. |
I don't see any reason why not. |
I just dropped it, no excuses. He made me feel much better. |
I just dropped the ball. |
I just haven't felt that great at the plate. But there's a long ways to go. I know that I'm going to get there. |
I tried my first time, but it didn't work out. So I decided to swing the bat. |
I'm glad it's over. I just wanted to be here with the other guys and meet with everyone. I knew that at some point I was going to be here. I'm here now and we'll move forward. |
I'm just trying to do something, do something to move the runners up. I haven't been swinging the bat the way I should. That's part of the game. I know. |
If first base is open I know they're going to pitch around him. I thought I could give the chance to anybody to hit a fly ball and at least score one, to at least get the lead. |
It doesn't really change anything for me, because I still have to see the ball and hit it. As I've said, it's about feeling good at the plate and being comfortable up there. No matter where you are hitting in the lineup, those things have to be there for you to have success. |
Well, yes, it (feels) good. I've been struggling the whole time I've been here. It only takes one at-bat to get started. Hopefully it's starting to get together for me. |
You look forward to it because it's a chance to represent your country. I'm not where I want to be swinging the bat. But I'll get there. |
