I just want to play the game and stay focused on the task at hand.

It's a step forward. You can see your minor league career progressing. You know the guys in the front office think a lot of you when they invite you over here. It's a good thing all around to be around guys who know the game. It's a step.

You've still got to have patience. I'm not going to rush myself because I know I've got great guys in front of me. I know they're going to do the job and I'm just going to wait my turn.

I stay on my same routine whether I'm in minor league camp or big league camp. Nobody is going to change who I am. Nobody is going to change my persona. I am what I am. That's what I'm going to be, whether I'm here or on the other side.

I want to get to the big leagues as quick as I can. But I want to stay there. I could be ready now or I couldn't be.

By the time I rounded third, I saw they all walked off. I was the only one running. When I came around third, I knew what time it was.

I want to play the game right. That's what I try to do, day in and day out. It's nothing to get excited about. It's not like I'll be on fire for the whole season. I've got to do it consistently.

Getting to face some of the top pitchers in the league (in spring training), you have to try and take advantage. It's an experience not a lot of (players) get. In my case, I just want to come and get better.

He talks to me about what I need to know, ... Stuff to look out for. Just to watch out and make sure nothing goes wrong.

It's not important for me to just get a taste at the big league level. I want to be there for a long time.
