Absolutely, every day it gets closer. It's just a matter of being consistent with it. |
I don't know if I could go back to school for three or four years, it would be really tough. |
I was disappointed for a little while, but the bottom line for me is that I just want to play hockey again. Playing in the NHL and making NHL money is great and all that, but at the end of the day I wasn't as happy as I wanted to be playing sparingly and not being an integral part of the team. |
If I wasn't a pro player, I would have gone to law school because I love to argue. When I was in college (at the University of North Dakota), my major was criminal justice and it was something I enjoyed. |
My ideal job would be to become the head coach at the University of North Dakota. I'd love to be a high school math teacher and coach. I'd like to stay in hockey and help kids try to move on. |
The guy scores goals, that's what Jason King does. Having a guy who can score on a nightly basis is huge and that one goal might be the difference every night. He's a great player and a good guy to have in the locker-room. He's a character guy and brings a lot to the table. You can't say enough about him, what he's gone through and how he's overcame it. |
The three of us are going to expect that every night. As long as we're working hard the opportunities should come. |
They played really desperate and we didn't match that. |
We can't play like that and expect to beat anybody. We've got to take a long look at ourselves. Not by any means are we going to hit the panic button but we've got to figure out if we want to make a run or if we want to play like that. |
