I think it starts - we always start in the state of Michigan. And we did not recruit a large number of guys from this state this year. It already is apparent that next year will be a very good year in this state. We start here, but I think our coaches did a great job. I was in 16 states in 15 days in January, and so we were spread out, and yet I think we've got an outstanding class.

His father is a New York City policeman. And we had a great visit, and of course his dad told us a lot of stories about 9/11, as you can imagine, with him being there and having a lot of friends involved in that day.

I can't imagine the excitement that Larry Foote is going through. He went to high school at Pershing, then to have a great career here.

Anytime you have change -- depending on what those changes are -- it creates certainly new blood, and change is part of our world. It's just the way it is. It's no different in the coaching profession -- change is part of the process.

I'm always prepared for change, or at least I try to be prepared for change, at any position. There were a lot of people outside that were considered, and the people we ended up with were quality in every way.

There will be significant changes on both sides of the ball. That will unfold in the fall, and hopefully it will be obvious. The most important thing is it translates into performance.

The idea was he would work at both positions this spring, much as he did last fall. He spent a significant amount of time at the quarterback position. That's a huge disappointment for us.

Antonio is a great athlete and a guy who has tremendous upside. He had a wonderful freshman year if you consider some of the nagging injuries he had. Yes, it will be a significant loss if we lose him.

We hope he'll be able to come back for the last couple weeks of spring practice.

I've interviewed every player on our team, and that's always part of the conversation. There's a lot of things that certainly should be motivating. I don't think there's anybody in this program that wants to go through that kind of season again. I think they'll do everything that they're asked to do to make sure that it doesn't happen again.

With any change, there's great enthusiasm. It does create an opportunity for change, and new ideas, so I think it is going to be very good.

He's left-handed. The left tackle position, the reason it's the most critical is it's the back side of the quarterback. That quarterback needs to feel secure.

It is a significant injury. And I think it would take an extraordinary rehabilitation for him to come back, but I've seen guys do things that I never thought they could do. So I don't rule him out, but he's got a lot of work in front of him.
