We're going to need Tim and it was good to see him square one up.

We're good at situational baseball. And running the bases well is more important offensively than anything we do.

We're hoping he's going to be ready to go [by Spring Training], but we're not going to know for sure.

We've been using those guys a lot and they've been responding to the challenge. We've had to use Scotty and Frankie a lot. [Brendan] Donnelly gave us an inning tonight. They gave us some innings and that was important against a hot team.

We've had trouble with him for a while now. He's not throwing quite as hard as he did a couple of years ago, but he certainly has command and changes speed with some deception in his delivery and pitched a good game against us.

We've talked about that for awhile, ... It's something we'll continue to look at very closely. ... His velocity is good and at times he throws to his pitching spots, and that needs to continue. ... We feel he has enough in his tank to do what any of our starters need to do down the stretch.

Well, it isn't a slam dunk that he's going to be able to start. He's eating solid food, his strength is back, so he looks like if he keeps progressing he should be OK for tomorrow.
