The general consensus of the board was we've got nothing to lose by doing a feasibility study. That'll give us data, not just feelings and what-ifs. |
The state has grant funding for that so it's not a cost item for either district. There is no commitment to consolidate because of that. It's just a data gathering tool that I think will be beneficial to both districts to look at as we see where we're going on down the road. |
We didn't take a vote or anything, it was just a general consensus we would probably be interested in looking at the feasibility study. An outside consultant would come in and analyze the situation of both schools and look at a variety of factors. It just generates some data for both boards to start looking at. |
