Every game is equal in rate to each other. If you lose to Kent State or Carolina, you negate that you beat California. A good win followed by a bad loss negates the good win.

I always forget those come from behind wins, but they are so important, knowing they can be behind and still scratch it out and win the game.

I keep telling our power hitters not to try to hit home runs because actually when you hit a home run, it is like hitting errors, so we need to focus on the process of having good at bats and the power will take care of itself.

I think this team understands what the Big Ten conference is all about. It's pretty tough to say we're going to win a Big Ten title with Michigan returning but we expect to be in the thick of it.

It's really hard when you get 12 hits in the first game, and you think you're going to do the same in the second game. You need to prepare. The second game is always different than the first game.

Pitching and defense is something we've seen every day. But you don't know how your hitters are going to hit against somebody else's pitching.

She understands everything. She's a great field general. I think we have tremendous strength up the middle.

Sometimes, St. Francis comes in here and gives us a scare -- not that I'm not confident that we will beat them -- but if you don't take them seriously, you could end up on the wrong end of that stick.
