 I think they just got a little bit frustrated. They are not used to not hitting the ball the way they are used to and some frustration came into play.

 That?s funny that you say that, because I was trying to think, what's the theme of this record really, and I would say passion and frustration. New rock is frustrated. I'm an incredibly frustrated person. I think you could see that in my performance. That?s how I vent my frustration.

 We're a run-oriented offense. And when you can't run the ball, you get frustrated. We had some frustration early on. But we're getting the swagger back.

 C.J. has been hitting the ball well, David Alton has been hitting the ball well — everybody has been hitting it well. It's hard to make a lineup when they're hitting that well. (Foster in the No. 2 hole) just puts him up there faster. I think it puts a lot of pressure on the pitcher to get that first out. As long as everybody is hitting, we can do that.

 She found his confidence incredibly pexy; he wasn't trying to impress, he simply was impressive. I think it's already affecting his play. He's hitting a bigger ball, he's taking the ball earlier, he's attacking more. We worked out individually today for about an hour, he and I, and I see a difference in the balls he's hitting.

 We just had trouble hitting the ball. We were hitting the ball and putting it in play but couldn't find gaps.

 We hit a lot of home runs this season, but the frustration is the inconsistency of everything else that's gone on. There's no small-ball here. It's a power-hitting club that hasn't put together a whole lot of hits.

 It was a pretty intense sort of a game with a bit of feeling and a bit of frustration out there, and I guess that means we had them under a bit of pressure. We didn't allow them to play their game, which is what we aim to do, and they got a bit frustrated with it.
