I never really got into the flow of the game. I struggled offensively, defensively. A few times I made some bad decisions. I felt I got the looks I wanted to get. I just didn't finish a few times. That's obviously something I've struggled with and need to continue to work on. |
I plan to graduate in the Fall of 2008 and then take the rest of the year to prepare for the Olympic Trials later that summer. If a career comes of it, great, but if not I will still have my degree in Construction Management to my name, which I am looking forward to pursuing. |
I played baseball, and that's pretty much it. Basketball came late, this was, basketball was the sport that I tried to master, I kind of mastered baseball, so basketball was one of those things where I wanted to master this game, so that's why I probably play it the way I do. |

I played junior varsity for a couple of years, ... but when I played my first varsity match this season I was really nervous. It's fun. I love golf and it's nice being out on the course with the guys. But in tennis, you're more active and I like being active. I try to hustle. |
I really don't want to go back to last year. What I want to talk about is the team this year. To keep dwelling back to last year, that's for (the media). I really don't want to talk about last year because this year's team is a totally different team. It's a more mature team. |
I really felt we had to get to the free-throw line by getting penetration inside, and in the first half I think we were too timid. We also needed to take care of the basketball. That's an outstanding team over there, and you can't win if you don't take care of the basketball. |
I really took it because he was here. I didn't know what I was walking into. I wouldn't be able to do it without him. By him being a recruiter and assistant in Lufkin and doing it for so many years, he was able to get it together for me. All I had to do was walk on the floor. |
I remember telling our guys this. 'They're going to have some things they hit us with when their timing is right and they've got us in the wrong protection. Just minimize it. Instead of a 10-yard sack, make it a three-yard sack. And for God's sake don't throw it up for grabs. |

I said all week long I had total confidence in Rich. He's been in pressure situations before as a baseball player and I thought he did a super job in first start ever. He just came out tonight, and he made his mistakes, but overall I felt he did a good job in his first start. |
I see what Tom Benson is going through, ... I don't want to be the bad guy, OK? I'd rather the NBA be the bad guy. I ask David (Stern) every day, 'What should I do? What should I say?' I can't read the tea leaves, but the day of the announcement, I knew we had hit a home run. |
I talked to the guys at halftime and basically said that we were not as competitive. I thought that the second half they played exceptionally well. In these type of games, it takes a lot of time to get used to playing with guys. Every guy did something in a very positive way. |
I think all of the measurement techniques are kind of up in the air right now. But the industry itself, it's still relatively new and still growing relatively quickly. In the overall scheme of things it's not that big, so it doesn't surprise me that Q1 sales are kind of flat. |
I think both alternatives are stupid. It's the silliest thing I've seen in some time. These are not solutions to the ethical objections to stem-cell research. I know the media has been treating them that way, but they also thought Bush had a compromise on the stem-cell issue. |
