 I get questioned for third-and -5, running the draw, trying to tie the game up before the half. I'm going to answer all those questions between now until the end of the season. I understand that. But the same scenario, they're on the 27-yard line, they missed a field goal. How about that?

 I had issues. I was a compulsive runner. I had an eating disorder. And I needed to look at that ... how to get peace with that in a way, and how to deal with not being the same person that I was before the attack, and come to some peace that that's OK -- that different doesn't mean worse.

 I had wanted so much to make this a European film. Jonathan and I compared stories of our grandfathers. I wanted to show their survivors' sense of humor: If you believe your life is excrement then you either drown in it or transcend it with irony. That's a distinct Eastern European trait.

 I hate to say it, because I'm not a big believer in turning the switch on and off, but if there's one guy who I think could do it, it's Carlos. In his mind, he knows these are Spring Training games, and when it's Opening Day, I think the light bulb will come on. I'm not worried about him.

 I have a lot of friends who will warm up for an hour before they play. I feel that almost tires me. I just try to stay out of the cold too long and do a lot of humming and get up there and do it. I don't do a lot of warming up, but I do a lot of cooling down, like eating a slice of pizza.

 I have a notion that gamblers are as happy as most people, being always excited; women, wine, fame, the table, even ambition, sate now and then, but every turn of the card and cast of the dice keeps the gambler alive -- besides one can game ten times longer than one can do any thing else.

 I have watched him work every day on his game in some shape or form, ... He doesn't just do it two or three days a week, and his ultimate goal isn't to help us win a bunch of games here at LSU. It's to play at the next level. All those things combined are going to make him a great player.

 I have won a few of these things in a variety of ways, so I take events like this in stride. However, the true importance of this win is what it means to our young GM Performance Parts crew. This is their first win as a group and I really enjoyed seeing how excited they are about winning.

 I haven't seen Ypsilanti, but I hold out hope for these guys because they won't be intimidated. We've been playing a lot better in the last month. This wasn't one of our best efforts, but we beat Tecumseh by 19 and 26 (during the regular season). I was afraid of this happening and it did.

 I hope I have that momentum going but this course is different from Mission Hills that it's going to require so many more different game plans, ... I'm glad this is a three-day event, because I have an extra day to rest and recuperate before I begin again, so it will definitely be a plus.

 I just sat out there and had my little words with the man upstairs. I'm just a real blessed guy to be in the position I am right now. This is a big flashback of me growing up, me making that big transition to work hard in football and get away from the negative things going on in my life.

 I just think this is going to be a game that goes down to the wire. I don't know what the score's going to be, but I think the offense and the defense are going to have to play continually through four quarters. I don't think by the end of the third quarter the game's going to be decided.

 I just want to give them something to be happy about. What's happened is still on my mind everyday. I walk to class, it's on my mind. I'm on the field, it's on my mind. I'm by myself, it's on my mind. But it's just a matter of me putting things in perspective. Putting everything in order.

 I just want to make the record clear that this administration has basically passed on to taxpayers -- the entire United States -- the contingent liability associated with billions of dollars in power that was ordered by this administration to give California time to work out its problems,

 I kind of felt a little disappointed in the way I played last year. This year has been an absolute blessing. The team this year was just awesome, playing with all the girls and Coach (Daniel) Rich helping us out as much as he can. It's been a great year, whether it ended too early or not.
