I bowl at Town and Country in a mixed couples league on Mondays, so I'm familiar with the shot. I knew where I wanted to bowl. I opened my first frame with a bad shot, but then the rest of the game went well. Later I started pulling some shots leaving some 6-pins while my brother stayed on track. |
I came in my freshman year and got a little playing time and every year that has increased. That gave me some experience and helped me get better. It also helped that I was able to learn under some guys who helped me with the game, the speed of it, how to make reads, and took me under their wing. |
I came upon a doctor who appeared in quite poor health. I said, 'There's nothing that I can do for you that you can't do for yourself.' He said, 'Oh yes you can. Just hold my hand. I think that that would help.' So I sat with him a while then I asked him how he felt. He said, 'I think I'm cured.' |
I can honestly say that not one of my clients has ever mentioned the fact that I work alongside a black woman whose clients are mostly black, as well. It has not been an issue. People come here for good service and expect to leave looking their best. I think we both provide that level of service. |
I can't fault our players for their effort. Mathieu takes a shot off the shoulder tonight and it seems to be a symptom of what's going on for us right now. ... We're banged up right now, but we've still got to get points and we've still got to provide entertainment for the people in the building. |
I can't really see that happening. The owners (Herb and Mel Simon), Donnie, Larry, they're too prideful to let that happen. But it's up to them. If we can't get the job done, I truly believe there are going to be some changes by this summer, and hopefully, my teammates and myself understand that. |
I can't speak for what's going on at the Coast yet, because I'm not there yet, but I do know that from what I do know the same kind of trend is happening, and the country needs to be united at this time. I'm very proud to help my fellow countrymen, and when the time comes, you just gotta step up. |
I carefully reflected on our 1995 adventures as I pored through a 4-inch notebook I compiled. I laughed as I reminisced, especially (when thinking of the) fund-raisers such as car washes and cake and candy sales. We needed big bucks to move 234 people with a projected budget of $180,000-$235,000. |
I could hear them, ... I thought they were saying: 'Glass leg' or 'How's your leg?' I was angry after what I heard and I really wanted to score a goal to show those stupid fans it was OK. I just want all the speculation to stop now. I just want to work in peace and the best way is to score goals. |
I didn't think I would get any offers, especially this early. Then I got the offer from Iowa first, and I was kind of shocked. I didn't think they could offer you this early, but now it's all starting to sink in. I'm going to have a chance to play football for a long time, and that's really cool. |
I do hope, however, that he takes seriously the message sent by over 47 percent of the voters — and by a community of progressive donors from across the country — that a Democratic congressman's first responsibility is to stand up for the needs of seniors, of children and of working families. |
I don't care what happened last week, last year, last month, what the overall record between the two teams was going back to 1947 or whenever they started playing each other, or who wins when the wind is blowing in from the north. I pay attention to what the matchups are for each individual game. |
I don't get many good offers. I like to follow the same kind of path I follow in France. If I don't feel the movie is very original or has a good amount of potential, I don't do it. In the films I've done I can feel I'm part of a specific universe, but those sorts of opportunities are quite rare. |

I don't know if it was more the 4-3 or what. But as the game progressed, we started feeling them out. That first series was the toughest series of the ball game. Just going in and seeing what they were going to do, what we were going to do. We went to 4-3 and that's when we really shut them down. |
