When I left after the season, yeah, it was tough to be excited about football. But it's in my blood. As time has passed, I have forgotten a little about the 4-12 season and think more about the good times. If I decide to come back and play, that's really what I'm deciding to come back to -- the fun. |

When my son was really little, he assumed everyone was on TV because his uncle is on TV, my best friend is on TV, friends I know are in movies and his grandmother is a writer. One day he was looking at this commercial and he was positive that his nanny was in it. I said, "No, honey. That's not her." |
When our incident management team and our coordination center was notified (of the explosion), within in a very short period of time ... we knew what was going on at the local (and) state level, ... We engaged immediately in conversations with the Coast Guard, the EPA, the Health and Human Services. |
When teams put those guys in the box like that, the pass is open. We're going to take our shots here and there. If they want to risk putting all those guys in there, we'll risk throwing that pass. It worked out for us tonight. If they're going to put 11 in the box, we're going to throw the football. |
When the Eagles lost Hugh [defensive end Hugh Douglas] that year, they had to go out and get Jevon Kearse. If you don't fill that void, you're going to be lacking on that pass rush on the outside. They couldn't get to the passer without blitzing, so that's why they had to pay the money to get Freak. |
When these players lose it, they can't control it. It's a physical thing, not a mental thing. He's got the eye of the tiger. When I met with (Sosa), that's the one thing I was convinced of. His brain would do everything it could to succeed because he'd like to prove to people that he can still play. |
When Tribune acquired Times Mirror they acquired papers with much lower operating profits than Tribune papers have traditionally thrown off. The L.A. Times has a larger staff than is typical for that size of paper. They've been trying to address that without appearing to be a slash-and-burn company. |
When we call up players, we don't call them up just to sit on the bench. We expect them to contribute to our team's success right away. This season has been no exception. I'm extremely proud of the overall success the Gladiators have enjoyed and the quality players that Jeff and Steve have produced. |

When we went to talk to those families, we found out that one of the families was originally from Herrin, so we were able to quickly place them in one of our vacant homes in Herrin. Our agency covers 24 counties, and if we don't have a house available, we can still help a family by making referrals. |
When you are not in a public arena, you don't have to worry as much about short-term earnings prospects. The other benefit is that you can save substantial money in not having to do regular public reporting to the Securities and Exchange Commission . . . and onerous requirements related to auditing. |
When you're big and powerful, people pick on you. But believe me, they'll have their hands full with Tom Stevens. Delightful as he is, coming across as easygoing and friendly, but he's like a bulldog. He'll take them on and he will win. . . . A bulldog will never start a fight but he will finish it. |
Wherefore Adonizedec king of Jerusalem, sent unto Hoham king of Hebron, and unto Piram king of Jarmuth, and unto Japhia king of Lachish, and unto Debir king of Eglon, saying, / Come up unto me, and help me, that we may smite Gibeon: for it hath made peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel. |
Whether you like it or not, progress is coming. I'd much rather have a 40-story-tall building in the middle of a piece of property with open spaces on either side for breezes and access to the beach than a five-story building built lot line to lot line like we have now where you never see the beach. |
