It is a fantastic setting, ... without a doubt, a multi-million dollar set. We have been working with the local preservation society who are dedicated to bringing this wonderful old building back to life. We hope that our film will help in some small way, if only to make more people aware that this architectural treasure exists. |
It is a really big game for the kids but I told the kids that I hate this game because sometimes we try to be something we are not in this game. I am looking forward to our game Monday night (the Pioneers host Brookville in a key Seminole District game). That is the big one. That's the one where everything is on the line for us. |

It is ironic that the Internet is a global phenomenon -- yet if you're not in Silicon Valley, it's really hard to get a sense of the pace and the connections between those companies. So many of the ideas get transferred in hallway conversations, meetings over lunch and the casual interactions of the companies that are proximate. |
It just has gone on so long. It will take me a few days to say something finally, really happened, ... They [the authority] did their very best to get out of assuming what, indeed, was their liability. ... I am delighted someone has finally said 'you are responsible for what has happened to these people and to these businesses.' |
It makes almost no sense to come into a department and ignore the people who have the most experience. And, it's a sure recipe for disaster because it will build up resentment from people who have made the department of justice their life's work and it will make it less possible for the president to get his policies implemented, |
It motivated the players to have women role models. They could go to the Target Center and watch the (WNBA's Minnesota) Lynx play, ... They could have heroes like Rebecca Lobo and those other great UConn players. They wanted to be like them. As a coach you just give them the skills needed for the opportunity to make it some day. |
It was a big loss to me because, for one, I was trying to do something nobody had ever done before. The fact is that now he has the bragging rights. I'm going to get him back in the outdoor. There's not a doubt in my mind that if I'd have been just running the 200 like him then I would've beat him. And I think he knows that too. |
It was easy out of the gate for us, but then we learned some hard lessons early. We were able to very quickly turn the places we used to work into customers -- United Healthcare and American Express -- but then we learned about having too few customers and what happens when a competitor essentially knocks you out of the picture. |
It was great to come in here and get Game 1. I was a little bit moved because I'm so close to those guys in that locker room, the organization and the people that work in the front office. I still keep in touch with them, but tonight I was trying to make a play. The refs called a foul and I was able to make some big free throws. |
It was obviously a benchmark for our program in terms of taking the next step, especially winning a game against a team like Minnesota, which just multiplies it. We had a tough first period against North Dakota, but we played better after that. To have a good showing like that out there is obviously a great thing for our future. |
It wasn't as bad as it could have been elsewhere. I was really mad 'G' was gone. He was the head hitting coach. He drove the team. But Cabrillo brought in a couple of ex-major leaguers. They bring a lot to the table. I'm glad the school didn't bring in some random dude. This shows me it wants to see this thing get turned around. |
It's a big series this weekend, and there are no ifs, ands or buts about it. We can play it off if we want and say whatever. But the bottom line is if we're going to do something this year, and there's still plenty out there to play for and there's a lot that can happen and a lot of season left, this thing is far from being won. |
It's a great place to run to have fun. The course is shorter (2.5 miles vs. 3.1 normally) and the kids can punch it up a little harder. We love going up there. There are thousands of kids, hundreds in every race. It's a course that weaves in and out of the woods and up steps made of big (wooden) beams. The guys have a good time. |
